Vinpocetine is a periwinkle plant extract that:
  1. dilates the arteries of the brain but does not dilate other blood vessels
  2. improves the brain's utilization of glucose.
  3. accelerates the rate of learning in animal studies by up to 40%.
  4. increases the length of time that short-term memory is retained.
  5. improves vision and eyesight disorders.
  6. improves impaired hearing and improves inner-ear problems.
  7. improves Tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and Vertigo (dizziness).
  8. can prevent stroke and mitigate damage in the aftermath of stroke.
  9. increases Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) within the brain's neurons

Huperzine A (Huperzia serrata) is an ingredient found in Chinese Moss that enhances mental functioning by prolonging the life of the brain neurotransmitter acetylcholine.  It works by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase, the enzyme that breaks down acetylcholine.

Pyritinol has been used in Europe since 1961 for various cognitive conditions such as dementia, head injury, stroke recovery, coma, and cerebral circulatory disorders.
Pyritinol has shown to help Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and is used by people of all ages to improve memory, concentration, and to enhance information processing.

Picamilon is a Russian nootropic that enhances cerebral circulation. Picamilon is used in Russia to treat anxiety, depression, headaches, glaucoma, and eye disorders.

Centrophenoxine raises brain acetylcholine levels thereby increasing alertness and attention span and improving learning ability.

Aniracetam,
Piracetam. and Oxiracetam are nootropics that improve communication between the two brain hemispheres.

Idebenone increases Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) in the brain. Idebenone has been used to treat Alzheimer's disease and to lessen brain damage from strokes. Idebenone protects the brain from excitotoxins like MSG and aspartame.

Galantamine is extracted from the snowdrop plant (a type of daffodil) and is approved by the FDA as an Alzheimer's treatment under the brand name Reminyl. In addition to its use for Alzheimer’s, people of various ages including students use Galantamine as an aid to improve their memory and learning ability.

1) Galantamine inhibits acetylcholinesterase, the enzyme that breaks down acetylcholine (the brain neurotransmitter necessary for learning and memory).

2). Galantamine stimulates brain nicotinic receptors and reduces the build up of amyloid plaque (deposits containing amyloid peptide and dead neurons) in the brain.

Get Smart Testimonial

Jeff,

I've noticed a marked improvement in my partner Mary since she started taking those 'Get Smart' capsules.  For instance, her mood has improved and she's more cheerful and optimistic and almost to the point of playfulness. She's active, creative, and seems to possess the energy to complete whatever she's doing. She's also helpful, co-operative, affectionate, and loquacious, and seems liberated from inhibition. Her sense of humour is enhanced and indeed so too is her sense of well-being and that too of her health. While she continues to be in this state it's a pleasure living with her when it's then that one can truly enjoy her company!  As an observer, I would say that the finer traits of her personality have come to the fore.

Having observed such an improvement, I too tried the capsules and while there was no immediate response I did however notice that as the day progressed so did my mood and my ability to focus on what I was doing. More interestingly, my muscles began to feel eased and my joints felt like they had been oiled when I then felt relaxed and really good; and that was after a day's manual work, and I'm 70!

I'm drawing those effects to your attention in the event that they may not be fully recognised nor appreciated.  They provide the feeling that one would expect to gain from the proverbial 'pep-pills'!  They are indeed proving to be helpful to both Mary and myself, so our thanks go to you for drawing them to our attention.

Best wishes,
Robert
